Job description

Role Overview:

In our dynamic finance department, you will play a critical role in upholding our financial standards and contributing to our growth. We are seeking individuals who are not only skilled in accounting but also resonate with our ethos of reliability and adaptability.

Role Objective

  • Conduct routine accounting tasks in a dynamic finance department, ensuring compliance with standard accounting practices.
  • Examine ledgers, compile various ledger reports, perform bank reconciliations, and update management information systems (MIS).

Key Responsibilities

  • Process invoices and bills using accounting software and allocate expenses.
  • Review and analyse ledger entries.
  • Create working files and schedules in Excel.
  • Reconcile bank statements.
  • Manage accounting journals, including entries for payroll, depreciation, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Address and resolve client inquiries.
  • Complete assigned tasks within specified deadlines, maintaining high accuracy.

Candidate Profile

  • Recent graduate (a fresher) or individual with 1-2 years of experience in day-to-day accounting, preferably in industry or an Indian firm.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Basic understanding of double-entry, bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with any accounting software is a bonus.

Working Days / Hours / Benefits:

  • Five-day workweek (Monday to Friday), with four days working from home and one day in the office.
